Muhammad Ghani Hekmat
Sculptor and fine artist who belongs to the pioneer generation and one of the founders of Iraqi fine art. He was born in 1929 in Baghdad, and studied under the professor Jawad Salem. One of his important artworks is Kahramana statue in Baghdad, and the monuments of Scheherazade and Shahryar. Muhammad fascinated and was influenced by Sumerian and Babylonian carving, as it was clearly appeared in his sculptural work. Muhammad died in 2011.

نحات وفنان تشكيلي من جيل الرواد ومن مؤسسين الفن التشكيلي العراقي ولد عام 1929 في بغداد درس على يد الاستاذ جواد سليم من اهم اعماله نصب كهرمانه في ساحة كهرمانه في بغداد وتمثال شهريار وشهرزاد كان متاثراً بالنحت السومري والبابلي ويظهر هذا التأثير باسلوبه في العمل النحتي توفي عام 2011
