Bahija Al-Hakim

Iraqi Fine artist, born in 1937, from the generation of pioneers and one of the founders of Iraqi fine art. Bahija contributed in starting a women’s movement on the level of Iraqi art, and she is the most well known artist who painted the nature, the flowers, basils in a unique decorative style embellished with gold and silver. Died in 2008

فنانة تشكيلية عراقيه ولدت عام 1937 من جيل الرواد ومن مؤسسين الفن التشكيلي العراقي وقد ساهمت في اطلاق حركه نسائيه على صعيد الفن العراقي  وهي اكثر فنانة اشتهرت برسم الطبيعة والزهور والرياحين باسلوب زخرفي مميز ومزين بالذهب والفضه توفيت عام 2008
